We know that women from minority ethnic groups, refugees, asylum seekers and those whose first language is not English are at greater risk of poorer maternity and neonatal outcomes. We are working hard across the region to reduce these health inequalities, making birth safer and more personalised.
We are delighted to share these fantastic maternity resources created by South East Maternity Team, to support our Afghan families through pregnancy, labour, birth and the early days with their new baby in collaboration with Papillon Translation and Surrey Heartlands’ Local Maternity and Neonatal System
