Quick and easy vaccination

Health services across Frimley Health and Care are making Covid-19 vaccination as simple and accessible as possible in order to boost the numbers of those protected.

A wide variety of walk-in vaccination clinics, combined with local and national appointment-based services, are available to meet people’s needs.

Vaccination teams and NHS organisations understand that some people yet to have either of their jabs have concerns or questions that are preventing them from having the confidence to come forward. If you are one of those people, please take a look at some short videos which answer some of the main points.

Some younger people feel they do not need to be vaccinated because they are young and healthy. While younger generations haven’t been as badly affected by Covid-19 as older people, they can still become seriously ill, or worse, if infected. Most new hospital admissions are people younger than those who needed acute treatment in waves one and two of the pandemic. The majority are people who have not been fully vaccinated.

With as many as a third of all those infected not showing any symptoms, it is easy for people to spread the virus among their family, friends and colleagues, including older and more vulnerable people – so for everyone’s sake, it’s better to be vaccinated.

To find out where and when you can be vaccinated, check out the local walk-in services or contact the national booking service online or by calling 119 if you are unable to use the online service.
