Supportive Conversations

The Frimley Academy has recognised the amazing response of our teams across the ICS – with people stepping into new roles, working in new partnerships and in new ways to support the system to be best prepared to deal with the impact of Covid-19.

To support staff in managing the pressures of working in new ways and in different settings, the Academy is offering 1:1 supportive conversations for anyone who feels they could benefit from them:

  • 1:1 supportive conversations (via online platforms such as Skype/Microsoft Teams). These are practical, pragmatic and structured supportive conversations, designed to create sense and order in a stressful environment. They are short (40 minutes) confidential conversations with a member of the Academy or a trusted associate. This offer will be accessible for senior leaders (clinical and non-clinical) and those people who are stepping into new decision-making roles in response to Covid-19. Please email frimley.academy@nhs.net inbox with your email, mobile number, role and organisation and your preference of day(s) and time(s) for the call.

  • Focused Support for Teams. The Frimley Academy are facilitating an online webinar to support mid to senior leaders in the Frimley ICS. The aim is to provide a short intensive webinar specifically for  individual teams asking for the support. The webinar will focus on supporting excellent leadership, behaviours during challenging times and provide some clear and concise take away message and actions. For more information, please email frimley.academy@nhs.net, with your email address, mobile number, role and organisation.
